Ukraine

привіт

It’s been a month already when I was in Nathan’s Village Hostel kind frustrated because couldn’t get the apartment I want, one of the afternoons I met Derek my partner in this adventure, he came from New York to Krakow for 2 weeks but the trip wasn’t just Krakow, Ukraine was on his mind too, we spent almost 2 hours talking about Ukraine,  I did a trip in November with my good friend Renzo, was a different time because was winter time but the experience we had was amazing. So I told Derek everything about Lviv and Kiev places to go, eat, party, etc.  Everything was coming to my mind, one time me and Renzo were in Kiev we said to ourselves we never going to live Ukraine so I guess we have to go the train station and get our ticket now. We didn’t want to leave but we have to be in Turkey by the end of December.

I saw Derek’s face he was fascinated for the stories about Ukraine, so he said ” wow you really like it uh? do you want to come with me ?….. I said man don’t tempting me because I will come back in a heart beat., I went back to my bunker thinking about the proposition and I said to myself  why not? I went to Lviv in winter how cool will be to see it in Spring, that night was already decided we are down for Lviv,  in the same hostel we  met Michael and Steve two guys from Canada don’t ask  me how but somehow we manage to put them in the bus with us, we had the best time ever in Lviv it’s amazing how just crossing the border can take you to a different place, reality, culture and the most amaze how to get around with the language!! in a place where English is not a priority language to speak. We managed to get around but the experience we had there for almost 2 weeks were awesome. When you go to a place the first thing is you want to go around take some pictures, us we seat in the cafe having a beer talking, we forgot about camera and it’s not because the place didnt have sight scenes, Lviv has but we were so amaze of the culture to share and talk about adventures, future etc, this place was hosting us better than home. Over a beer and talks, breakfast at 6am in the Bunker, bottles of vodka, these 4 guys were so close that feels like we were having a high school reunion. Thanks Ukraine to host us and make out adventure so real.

To all the amazing people in Ukraine and my travel partners here some pics I managed to take.

здоров’я
